Saginaw County Mosquito Abatement Commission (SCMAC) has tentatively scheduled its Spring Aerial Larval Control Program for mosquitoes breeding in seasonally flooded woodlots, to begin the week of April 8, 2024. Weather conditions always play a factor in determining when our aerial treatment will commence, which means the program may start earlier or later than the projected start date.

Bridgeport Township is currently seeking applications for the Planning Commission.

2024 Property Assessment Notices for Bridgeport Township went out in the mail.
The taxable values went up 5% which is limited to the percent change in the rate of inflation.
The taxable value is the value to which the millage rate is applied.
The assessed value is based on 50% of the market value as required by state law.
The assessed values went up in the township do to the market. These values have to be in line with the county and state values as well.
If you would like to dispute your values you can make an appointment to meet with the Board of Review on March 13th from 3pm -9pm & March 15th from 9am -3pm.
